Hello, beautiful souls! I’m Valley West, a recording artist and songwriter, and I’m excited to share my extraordinary journey with you. It’s a story that winds through the rhythm of DJing, the healing power of energy work, and the forgotten world of poetry—culminating in the vibrant melodies of my original music.

The DJ Chapter

My journey began in the pulsating heart of nightlife as a DJ, where I spun tracks that would set the mood for unforgettable nights. Music was always my sanctuary, a way to connect with others and express emotions that words alone sometimes couldn’t capture. While I loved the energy of the dance floor, I felt a deeper calling stirring within me—a longing to explore the healing potential of music and creativity.

A Call to Healing

One day, amidst the beats and rhythms, I asked the universe for guidance. I wanted to align with my highest timeline, to find a path that not only fulfilled my passion for music but also enabled me to help others heal. Almost instantly, I felt a shift. I started to delve into the world of energy healing, discovering the profound ways in which we can tap into our inner power and release what no longer serves us.

As I embraced this new direction, something incredible happened: rhymes began to flow into my mind like a gentle stream. Words poured forth, resonating with the experiences I had accumulated and the healing powers I was unlocking within myself. It felt magical—like I was receiving messages from a higher source, guiding me on my journey.

Poetry Becomes Music

With every poem I wrote, I felt a sense of freedom washing over me. I repeated affirmations of healing and empowerment, breaking free from curses and limitations—both personal and collective. This process allowed me to not only heal myself but to connect deeply with the universal experiences that bind us all together. Every word became an anthem of liberation and joy.

Soon, I found myself connecting with incredible individuals who shared my vision and passion for music. Together, we crafted songs that merged the energy of healing with the art of storytelling. These collaborations breathed life into my poems, transforming them into melodies that danced in the air, ready to uplift and inspire.

Sharing My Music

I’m beyond excited to announce that I will be releasing my first EP Front & Center on Bandcamp.com on July 3rd.

Each note, each lyric, is infused with the energy of my journey—the highs and lows, the triumphs, and the growth. It’s a celebration of the healing power of creativity and the joys of self-expression.

Additionally, I am thrilled to share that my poetry book is on the way, a collection of verses that reflect the transformative journey I’ve embarked upon.
